What can cuase my incredibly debilitating sleep disorder?

I'M 47, JUST IN THE PAST YEAR I HAVE BECOME AWARE THAT MY SLEEP PROBLEM IS ACTUALLY "REALLY BAD"....I CAN STAY AWAKE FOR UP TO 5 OR 6 DAYS SOMETIMES,..IT HAS CAUSED A HEART ATTACK AND 4 REALLY BAD SIEZURES AND I WAS HOSPIATLIZED FOR ALL OF THESE THINGS......I'VE ALWAYS HAD A SLEEP PROBLEM BUT IT DIDNT USE TO EFFECT ME THIS WAY. AFTER 2 AND A HALF DAYS I GET A METALIC TASTE IN MY MOUTH (which goes away)AND MY SKIN FEELS TIGHTER ON MY FACE AND ARMS AND HANDS. I HAVE SMALL SIEZURES AND TRIP OVER MY OWN SHADOW,....MY SIGHT IS STEADILY FAILING AND I HAVE GAINED LIKE 45 POUNDS IN JUST THE PAST YEAR.......I WANNA KNOW WHAT IS CAUSING THIS TO HAPPEN TO ME,....I'D RATHER BE DEAD THAN HAVE ANOTHER SIEZURE LIKE I HAVE IN THE PAST YEAR....MY DOCTOR HAS ME ON XANAX AND SEROQUEL AND NOW I'M ADDICTED,...I'M SCRAED TO DEATH TO HAVE ANOTHER SIEZURE LIKE THE ONES I'VE ALREADY HAD. SOMEONE CLUE ME IN ON WHATS WRONG WITH ME.

What can cuase my incredibly debilitating sleep disorder?
It sounds as if you may be experiencing some back-to-back seizures, which can be very bad for the heart. Have you seen a neurologist? Have you had an EEG? Have you tried to cut back on the amount of time you spend online? Have you tried to get exercise - even if it's just floor exercise and stretching - and then make sure that you eat your last meal by 6:30pm, so that no food enters your mouth past 7:30pm?

Last meds should come at 8pm. Xanax is very addictive, but it sounds like you might be a candidate for other medications which might control your problem more effectively. You need to see a competent neurologist. (along with your cardiologist) because what you are talking about can affect your heart. Really.
Reply:Listen, I know that this is going to sound kind of absurd. But I think your doctors need to check in to some type of blood poisoning. It really sounds to me like something a poison unknowingly ingested would do. Look up poison effects on internet and check your symptoms with them okay? Meanwhile, you have my prayers! God Bless You!
Reply:things that can cause sleeping disorders can be frequent nervousness, frequent worrying, depression, or other mental things but you should have yourself checked out by more than one doctor. maybe one might miss something that another will notice
Reply:1-eat a lot of onions....raw

2-have a glass of warm milk with honey added b4 bed.

3-massage ur head daily with olive oil

4-take 2 large spoons of extra virgin olive olive oil daily.

5-avoid nicotene,cafien and spices.

6-drink a lot of water
Reply:you need to see a sleep specialist, your MO should have recommended this a long time ago. I suggest that the following might help though (see your MO first)

no caffeine from 5pm, take sedative, relax with dark room, quiet soothing music, lavender incense, and think nice thoughts or dream up what you would do if you won $1000000.

Things like that, it will take time, exercise a lot in the afternoon. persevere. after a few months you may be able to skip a day every second day of taking sedative. It is most important to see your MO prior to taking any tablets as you are already on medication. Good Luck
Reply:Please take a look at Tahitian NONI Juice.. www.tni.com

It IS listed in the Physician's Desk Reference with NO known negative side effects.

Noni juice will aid your body in dumping toxins... I have been drinking an ounce to 3 ounces a day for over a year and I feel like ME again. And there was a time I didn't think I would ever feel better.

Remind yourself that GOD is real and FEAR is NOT real... even though it may FEEL real.

God won't give you more than you can handle here.. Not that God gave you whatever is happening to you.

You are NOT alone, God is WITH you, not against you.

Read about spiritual warfare.... I think illness is warfare that effects us tangibly????????

Take life ONE day at a time.....

Blessings to you.

Oh, and www.stevenhalpern.com His music is awesome!

His "healing music" CD is full of miracles.... I had a spinal tap a few years ago and brought the music with me, my blood pressure dropped so fast while I was listening to it that the nurses came to find out what I was listening too????
