Could I be diabetic or have an metabolism disorder?

Here are a few things about me...

1. Skin heals slowly, and always makes a ring around the cut area.

2. My hands are always cold, even in the summer

3. When I'm pregnant I have to pee every hour

4. I'm skinny even though my sisters and parents are overweight

5. People say I am kind of short tempered

Could I be diabetic or have an metabolism disorder?
None of these symptoms point to diabetes. Most all of them are normal occurrences. Being short tempered is a behavior - not a physical symptom. None of your symptoms are alarming. Stop worrying about them.
Reply:You have some of the symptoms of diabetes. I would go to the doctor for a blood test because this is a disease that you can treat with medication and/or diet. If it is your metabolism the doctor can also tell you how to take care of that problem.
Reply:The only way to know for sure is to have a fasting blood sugar done and an A1C, which gives your average blood sugar for the last three months.

All women have to pee frequently when pregnant so that is not a definitive symptom of diabetes. It could be if you had to pee every hour when NOT pregnant. Most people that I know with diabetes (type II) are overweight, not skinny.

Poor wound healing and vascular issues with the extremities (especially the lower legs and feet) can also be symptoms of a metabolic problem. Cold hands can also be other issues, not just metabolic.
Reply:that's something you might want you re Dr check out you can go on the Internet and look up the symptom is of dietbist are there any diabetics in your family like your grandma mom aunts
Reply:I se nothing here that indicates you are diabetic. You have to pee a lot while pregnant because the baby pushes down on your bladder. That is very normal.Lots of people have cold hands.Type in "symptoms of diabetes" in a search engine and read.
