Normal people: If you had mental probelms would you use products that were tested on animals to cure yourself?

I have these mental problems-

severve OCD

binge eating disorder

exxsesive skin picking disorder

acute phycosis

zephynierovich's disorder

hysteria

a minor case of global development delay(im told it didnt affect me past age 9)

peter pan syndrome

I would NEVER use any products that would "cure" my mental ilnesses as i just LOVE being metally challnged. I wouldn't have so many adevntures if i wasn't!My parents try and give me 4 diff. types of medicine everyday but i just pretend to take them n throw it away!I hope my mental problems worsen so I get put in this mental hopsital for kids thing

I also will only use products tested on animals especially beuty products in extreme cases. My parents eat meat and the rest dont use producs tested on animals or fur so my parents only give me medeicine which isnt tested on animals .

So if you were/you are menatlly challnged do/would you use products tested on animals?why?I wont. i want vegans to answer this but everyone is welcome. No trolls

I know what you mean... I have psychosis and I do not want to be 'cured' of it... it makes life so interesting. It doesn't drive me insane so I don't take meds for it.

My social phobia however I wish will go away. For a while I really did wish they would take me to a mental hospital so I wouldn't have to deal with jobs, people, all that. But my auntie was in one for a few months and they are horrible places.

Some meds that already exist have been tested on animals and aren't anymore because research is done. I would use those. But am wary of other products, I guess it depends what kind of animal testing.

I would never use makeup, shampoo, cleaning products or anything like that has been tested on animals. And I don't buy fur or bags made from animals.
Reply:Medicines are required by law to be tested on animals. If you need them, then take them. You won't do the world much good if you're dead.

However, I feel there's a huge difference between testing mandated by law (I do love when companies work on finding alternative methods of testing, though) and testing for fun on things that don't require testing; i.e. shampoos, cosmetics, cleaning products, etc.
Reply:No trolls he says. LOL
Reply:Seems like animal testing is the least of your problems compadre. There are many different drugs out there, I'm sure you can find one or ten for your situation that may not test on animals. Are you sure you didn't just make up a few of those dieases? I am not a true vegan I occasionally eat people. Why do u love being mentally challenged? People who have *true* mental illness usually aren't proud of it, take it from me. Sounds like your parents need to be giving you a little more attention than your getting at home.
Reply:I'm a "mental" person...and yes I use meds that were tested on animals. I feel bad that I do yes...but I really don't have much of a choice. My goal is to have as normaly as a life as possible...not to wind up in a mental hospital(and I would for SURE). IF I could come up with a cure for my illness and had all the proper resources to do so I would. But alas I'm not a rocket scientist and am struggling with money so..I can't.

BTW why in the world do you WANT to wind up in a hospital? I heard some crazy things now..but..man.
Reply:I wouldnt
Reply:I'm a "mental" person! but not as mental as you lol

if you are serious then you must know how frustrated you can get, and how hard it is just to be inside your head sometimes!!! so i'd say that you should wisen up and take anything that will help! nothing will take all your illnesses away so stop worrying that your going to wake up one day and be "cured" as this will never happen!!! it sounds to me like you will still be able to get loads of help so dont worry about not surviving!!!

i think you need to speak to a dr or your parents about your thoughts and fears!
