I may have an endocrine disorder but all tests are normal. Is there an imaging test to show brain & glands?

I am 31yrs. old andI have been sick for over a year and a half with fatigue, no menstrual periods, hypoglycemia, acne and symptoms of decreased estrogen,ie. thinnng skin, loss of skin tone %26amp; elasticity, facial hair, loss of balance and memory, etc.

All hormonal and complete blood work are normal despite my obvious symptoms. I am very desperate and want to make sure I cover all the bases, as far as tests. Is there a test that looks at the brain, as well as all the organs and glands of the body? Is there one that would show inflammation too? Would I need both the PET and CT scan together?

Thanks for any help.

You may just need a 2nd opinion from an endocrinologist who is a pituitary specialist. Many endos don't read test results right...low normal should be read as not normal! Some endos just don't get this. Were you pregnant prior to symptoms? You need a pituitary MRI (focuses in on the very small pituitary). Best Dr. is at this website: www.goodhormonehealth.com. Look at list of symptoms.
Reply:Then it's not an endocrine disorder. You may have Guillain-Barr Syndrome. (Chronic fatigue.)
