I have eczema all over my body n face. how can i stop scratching?

Everyday I scratch at night, I barely scratch during the day. How can I stop scratching at night b/c my body is filled with huge chunk of black skin pigments or scars that won't fade away on my white skin? I tried wearing gloves on my hands or tie my hands on the bed. Neither way helped me prevent scratching. I am so tired dealing with all this skin disorder. I need help.

I have eczema all over my body n face. how can i stop scratching?
Try using AVENO cream its oat based and stops itching its especially for eczema.
Reply:i have it to. aveeno cream works. but prescirtion works best. my eczema's not as bad as it was a few years ago.
Reply:Hey I have eczema all over my thighs I went to my dermatologist and they gave me some samples of a prescript drug called Zyrtec it really helps
Reply:My baby had eczema and our doc gave us sample tubes of Elidel, that worked really good for us, way better than Aveeno.
Reply:Why not try to cure your eczema instead of not scratching it?

Reply:Argh,

In order for you to stop scratching, you need to 1). have self discipline. Instead of scratching just PAT it and apply hot compress. 2a) you can use Aveeno exzema care body wash and moisturizing cream 2b) or Elida cream, apply twice a day (avoid the eyes). 2c) or Quadriderm ointment - apply twice a day (avoid the eyes) 3) You can take the ff to control the itchiness, Virlix or Zyrtec 10 mg - 1 tab once a day, or Tavegyl 10 mg - 1 tab twice a day.

To Avoid flare-ups, avoid the ff: 1) chemical irritants such as: harsh soaps, detergents, household cleaners. And alcohol, astringents, and perfumes. 2) physical irritants such as wool

3) allergens such as dust, pollen and molds. Good day...
