Every morning I wake up with new itchy bites, but NO sign of fleas, bedbugs, spiders?

I have vacuumed the whole bedroom, vacuumed the mattress, put it out in the sun, hung the duvet in the sun, washed all the linen. Not once have I seen a sign of any kind of bug, and I've looked carefully, yet every morning I wake up with a few more itchy bites. It's driving me crazy, been going on for a few weeks. Is it possible that you can have a skin disorder or allergy where you self-generate "bites"? Or what?! Any suggestions?

Dust mites are commonly thought of as causing dermatitis, asthma and rhinitis. Small children are also said to run the risk of asthma if exposed to the feces of dust mites. For example, if you sleep on a mattress containing a large amount of dust mites, you’ll notice red itchy bumps. These bumps are a result of your skin reacting to the allergen of the dust mite.

You also could be allergic to whatever detergent you use to wash your sheets, or you could have bed bugs even if you don't see them. A good pest control service (ask if they are good at detecting bed bugs) might be able to help you find out for sure. It would be worth whatever it costs, since you've already put so much effort into this to no avail!

I hope you solve this problem soon and sllep comfortably at night!
Reply:You could be allergic to something. Bed bugs live in your mattress. If the mattress is more than 2 years old you could have dust mites in it. They eat our dead skin when we sleep. Get a mattress cover and the dust mites cant bite.
Reply:It could be bed bugs. I had them and theyre nasty little buggers. The only way we got rid of then was having the whole house fumigated. They can live anywhere in your home, and Ive read they will travel 100 metres to get dinner lol. Try getting a pest control guy in.
