Is there a treatment for Folliculitis?

Hi! I think i develop a skin disorder called Folliculitis on my both arms.

I had this for 4years now=/

I'm just wondering whether anyone has had the same issue %26amp; what treatment could I go for?

I'm also wondering if it's infectious?

Is there a treatment for Folliculitis?
As you probably know, folliculitis is usually caused by a bacteria in a damaged hair follicle. An old friend had it on his scalp. The derm gave him a round of antibiotics and instructed him to cleanse his scalp with Hibiclens - an antiseptic wash that is also used before surgeries to reduce the risk of infection. You can get it a regular drug store and follow the directions on the package. If you are using anything for the condition already, ask your dr if you can add this to your daily regimen.
Reply:idk
Reply:Um yeah I'm with you there. You should see a doctor, i know how expensive that is tho. Sorry. I have the same condition, on and off, except it's on my feet. I don't know if there's a cure or not, ask your doctor. Good luck %26amp; Happy Halloween!
Reply:i don`t have that disorder exactly but i have keratosis pilaris on the backs of both arms. i`ve had it for about 2-3 yrs. my dermatologist gave me some Retinin A Micro cream %26amp; gel it works!! mine was gone in a week!! hope this helps. :)
