My cat is sick. Help me out.?

My 4 year old female cat developed some sort of skin disorder. She's got scabs all over her head. It's in like a pattern, like in horizontal rows of scabs between her eyes and ears. She's an outside cat, we live in Florida. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

My cat is sick. Help me out.?
The warm, moist climate in Florida is great for breeding all kinds of insects, some of which can bother your cat if she gets an infestation (many are microscopic). So the vet should examine her and try to establish what the problem might be. Your vet has probably seen the critters many times and treated cats for it so do take her in as soon as you can.
Reply:It could be scabies. Take her to a vet immediately.
Reply:The best thing to do would be to have her seen by a vet. Good luck and God Bless.

2. put it into car.

3. drive for hours to some woods.

4. push cat out of car.

5. leave.

6. get a dog.
Reply:Probably a bad case of fleas . Take her to a vet .
Reply:Vet would prabable be the only logical answer to that. Could be the Sun to. Maybe she is sunburnt

1. I like the Gunslinger's answer. LOL ! Except I don't like dog's. Ha Ha. But that was a good one.
Reply:A vet is certainly in order here...

But it could be one or more of these things: Flea infestation, Fungus, Mites, Mange, Ringworm, Allergies, Fly bites, ect. ect.

Only a vet will know for sure.
Reply:I would strongly recommend that your cat be seen by a veterinarian for proper diagnosis and treatment.
