YellowLabs?

I have a yellow lab that has a raw looking sore on her neck,i dont belive it has anything to do with her collar, she has had this once before and i changed collars but it came back about 8 mounths later is it a skin disorder and if so what can be done.It also has a bad order too. When she goes out side the first thing she does is roll on the ground,She remains very happy even with this, but i dont belive this is nomal. Can you help?

YellowLabs?
Hot spot.

Hot spots start as an irritation / bite / allergy just about anything and then the staph that is normally found on their skin infects it and it becomes a red sore (often pus is seen).

Antibiotics and bathing it with an anti malasezia shampoo will clear it up.
Reply:what did the vet say?
